FIELDS OF USE:
For delicate fabrics, wool and silk up to 40°C.
In the washing machine and for hand washing.
APPLICATION / DOSAGE:
4.5 kg washing machine:
Soft and medium hard water areas:
60 ml
Hard and very hard water areas:
90 ml
add to the detergent compartment of the machine. Do not spray the detergent concentrate onto dried laundry. This could cause sensitive fabrics to be become discoloured.
1 L of SONETT OLIVE WASHING LIQUID for WOOL and SILK is sufficient for 17 washings in soft and medium hard water areas, each load being approx. 2,5 kg.
Hand washing:
approx. 15 - 30 ml per 5l water
add to the running water, then add the items of laundry. Only stir gently. Adjust the rinsing water to the temperature of the washing water to prevent temperature shock.
SONETT LAUNDRY RINSE:
add to the fabric softener compartment;
freshens sensitive colours, helps the remaining detergent to rinse out better and smoothes fibres.

ORIGIN AND PROPERTIES OF THE INGREDIENTS:
OLIVE SOAP: The fruits come from century-old olive groves in the Mediterranean regions of Italy, Spain and Greece. By means of mechanical processes like pressing and centrifugation, the olive oil is extracted. When saponified with ptassium hydroxide, it forms the main constituent of the SONETT OLIVE WASHING LIQUID FOR WOOL AND SILK. Olive oil is the best oil raw material for making mild soap and restoring the deficient protective hydrolipidic film. Its balanced fatty acid composition, curative balancing effect on the heart and circulatory system and the remarkable development of the olive tree on a 7-year cycle demonstrate the special proximity and relationship of this oil to humans.
RAPESEED OIL SOAP: rapeseed oil saponified with potassium hydroxide serves to increase the washing power. In addition to flax and sunflower, rapeseed is one of the few oil fruits which are cultivated for oil production in our temperate central European climate, even certified organically grown.
ETHANOL: It is derived from the fermentation of starch-containing plants such as maize and potatoes. Ethanol helps to keep the soap liquid, while at the same time improving the fat-solubility of the detergent.
SUGAR SURFACTANT: Sugar, starch and coconut oil are the raw materials for the sugar surfactant used. The proportion of the sugar surfactant is adjusted to the soap content of the detergent so as to ensure that the calcium soap formed by hard water is distributed as finely as possible in the suspension and to prevent it from being deposited on the laundry.
SPECIAL PRODUCT FEATURES:
In this product, high-grade pressed olive oil is processed into a soap which possesses excellent cleaning and nurturing properties and restores the deficient protective hydrolipidic film for woollen and silk fabrics. With the aid of the sugar surfactant, a mild soap-based detergent is created, which is easily manageable even with hard water, and retains all the positive properties of a soap detergent.
The olive oil and rapeseed oil, as well as the essential lavender oil, are 100% derived from certified organic cultivation.
TECHNICAL DATA:
Density: (20°C), approx.
1.02 g/cm³
pH value: (20°C) ( 5g/l H2O ), approx.
8.5 – 9.5
At temperatures below 10° C, the product changes and becomes somewhat thicker and cloudy, but this disappears again in warm conditions and after light shaking if necessary.
ECOLOGY:
BIODEGRADABILITY:
SOAP made from vegetable oils has the outstanding feature of combining, immediately after use, with the calcium always present in the waste water to form calcium soap. Thus, within a few hours, the surfactant effect, harmful to aquatic organisms, is neutralized (
primary degradation). The calcium soap is then 100% degraded by microorganisms to carbon dioxide and water (
secondary degradation).
ETHANOL is infinitely miscible with water and is reintegrated into the natural cycle within a few hours.
In the manufacturing process of SUGAR SURFACTANTS, constituents are taken from the plant-based raw materials starch, sugar and fat; however, they completely retain their natural structure. It is therefore relatively easy for microorganisms to 100% decompose these surfactants.
SOAP and SUGAR SURFACTANTS are considered by the OECD to be slightly biodegradable.
